Foothills Food Hub
Foothills Food Hub is a 501c3, non-profit organization that has the two missions. They work to make sure no one in McDowell County goes hungry, and they feed them with as much local food as possible. Providing an on-line sales platform for farmers at no cost they aggregate and distribute local food through a variety of channels, and continuously work to open new markets for farmers. Foothills Food Hub is in the process of opening a small grocery store that will stock only N.C. based products. They also operate the Marion Tailgate Market.
